Applications: FTTH, aerial cabling, and industrial cable fastening

The product range has been assembled to cover the complete fastening needs of modern optical and copper cable networks. Extralink fastening clamps (such as PA3000, PA70-2000, PA6-9, PA54-1500, AC-12, Fish, I-FISH-U) are specifically designed for aerial and FTTH optical cables, making them ideal for the installation of suspended sections between poles, facade drop cables, and incoming home networks.

Stainless steel straps and bands (e.g., Extralink 0.7 mm, SS201, SS304) are suitable for mounting on utility poles, support brackets, and other structural elements where corrosion resistance and high tensile strength are essential. Steel strap tensioners (e.g., I-nap-003) assist in precise, vibration-free fastening, ensuring that installed elements remain stable in place over the long term.

Technical considerations for selecting the right fastener

When purchasing, it is important to consider the type and size of the cable to be fastened (e.g., 2F–24F optical cables, 8–12 mm outer diameter), the mounting location (wall, pole, aerial cable), and the environmental load (UV, precipitation, mechanical stress). The load capacity, material quality (stainless steel, galvanized steel, UV-resistant plastic) of the clamps, brackets, and hooks is also crucial for long lifespan.

  • Cable diameter and type: PA series clamps and FTTH clamps are designed for specific size ranges.
  • Mounting point: Hooks, screw hooks, and hangers that fit wall, pole, or suspended-mounted brackets.
  • Material and surface treatment: Stainless or galvanized steel for outdoor use; UV-resistant cable ties for durable outdoor applications.
  • System-level compatibility: Pole brackets (CA1500, CS100, CS1500), four-arm frames, and mounting plates create compatible Extralink solutions.

Cable management, spare cable loops, and organization

Frames for placing four-arm cable frames and spare cable loops (e.g., sizes 450x450, 500x500, 600x600, 700x700 mm, as well as distance cable reserve frames with 100 and 165 mm) assist in the aesthetic and safe management of coiled cable sets in backbone and distribution point sections. Cable section support frames and mounting plates provide extra mounting points, preventing cables from breaking and simplifying future expansion or maintenance.

Smaller cable ties (3x150 mm, 5x250 mm, available in black and white) can be used for indoor and outdoor cable organization, allowing for quick fastening of patch panels, rack cabinets, and wall-mounted sections. A wide range of hooks, hanger hooks, and screw hooks (12 and 16 mm diameters, various lengths) enables you to find compatible hanging elements for every bracket and support solution, whether for smaller home installations or larger industrial and service networks.
