Suitable for 12 V and 24 V solar systems
The solar controller can be used for 12 V as well as for 24 V battery systems. The system adjustment is done automatically.
Deep discharge and overcharge protection
The integrated deep discharge protection automatically switches off the load output as soon as the battery voltage drops below the minimum voltage. When the battery has been recharged and the battery voltage rises above the reset voltage, the solar charge controller automatically reconnects the load output. Overcharging is prevented thanks to integrated overcharge protection.
Automatic temperature compensation
The built-in temperature sensor ensures that the battery is charged as optimally as possible even when temperatures fluctuate. The end-of-charge and end-of-gassing voltages are dynamically adjusted to the prevailing temperature. At high temperatures, the final voltage is reduced, at low temperatures it is increased.
Gassing control
If a lead-acid battery is operated for a long time without controlled gassing, harmful acid layers can form. The solar charge controller eliminates or prevents the formation of acid layers by controlled gassing. This behavior is also temperature-dependent and is compensated by the built-in temperature sensor.
LED battery status indicator
Three LEDs provide information about impending deep discharge, the current state of charge and the operating status of the battery.
