What is a UPS?

A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a device that provides uninterrupted power supply to other electronic devices in case of a power outage. When there is power in the outlet, the UPS charges the built-in battery and acts as a surge protector, while modern Green Cell devices also ensure proper power supply during significant and prolonged fluctuations in the mains voltage.

In the event of a power outage at the mains socket, the UPS automatically supplies power to the connected devices. This allows for the safe shutdown of the equipment and the saving of ongoing work results. A sudden power outage can result in the loss of important data and damage to electronic devices.

The design scheme allows the UPS to be operated horizontally and mounted in 19" racks. However, it can also function in a vertical position.
