Absolutely self-sufficient thanks to real sine wave AC voltage Please note that each DSW-2000-Synchron requires its own connection cable set in synchronous operation. Note on safety for the commercial sector:
Features & Functions
Can be connected in parallel: Continuous power 4000 W – peak output power 8000 W
Especially with consumers that require a high inrush current, starting does not always run smoothly. For this reason, all DSW inverters are designed to provide twice the continuous output power for a short period of time. Two of the DSW-2000-Synchron inverters can be connected together via a separately available connection cable to form a powerful 4000 W system. This provides a continuous output power of 4000 W and a peak output power of 8000 W. The two inverters can also be operated individually with the respective continuous output power. Please note that each DSW-2000-Synchron requires its own set of connection cables to the battery in synchronous operation.
Real sine wave alternating voltage 230 V/50 Hz
The digital control converts a 12 V or 24 V direct voltage into a pure sine wave output voltage of 230 V/50 Hz
Microprocessor-controlled electronics
A microprocessor forms the heart of the inverter. This control centre monitors the most important parameters of the of the electronic system, such as the input voltage and frequency. This ensures constant stability of the output voltage.
Continuous power 2000 W – Peak output power 4000 W
Especially with loads that require a high inrush current, the start-up does not always run smoothly. For this reason, all DSW inverters are designed to provide twice the continuous output power for a short time. Please note: To determine the appropriate inverter, you need to know your total power requirement. This is the sum of the power (W or VA) of each individual consumer. We recommend that you allow for a power reserve of 30 - 40 % upwards. To the overview "How to find your inverter" >
Powerstart function for loads with high inrush current
All DSW inverters have a powerstart function as standard. Inrush current When the load is switched on, the inrush current can briefly reach 5 to 10 times the specified nominal current. The powerstart function attempts to compensate for this phenomenon by making up to 5 start attempts with maximum output power.
E-certification: Suitable for permanent installation in vehicles
The digital sine wave inverters meet the legal requirements of the ECE regulations and therefore have the E-certification. They are suitable for permanent installation in all vehicles with road approval, such as passenger cars, utility vehicles or other vehicles with 12 V on-board voltage.
Galvanic isolation of the input and output stage
Galvanic isolation (see fig. above) Thanks to galvanic isolation, there is no electrical conductive connection between the input and output circuit. Therefore, no additional personal protection device ( RCD or DI circuit breaker) is required even for commercial use when only one 230 V consumer is connected. Please note: If a multiple socket outlet is connected and several 230 V consumers are used at the same time, the German trade associations stipulate that each additional consumer must be protected with a separate RCD or DI circuit breaker. Please obtain information from your trade association or on the Internet at: www.dguv.de
Extensive protection functions
IVT inverters provide protection against reverse polarity and overvoltage at the input as well as against short circuit and overload at the output. In case of overheating, the inverter shuts down automatically.
Dynamic deep discharge protection
On the one hand, the dynamic deep discharge protection ensures that the battery is protected against deep discharge; on the other hand, it also allows loads with a high inrush current, as the cut-off threshold is lowered for a short time. With the optionally available FB-04 remote control and the Webbox-LCD , it is also possible to adjust the deep discharge protection individually. A voltage between 9 V and 12 V (for 12 V models) or 18 V and 24 V (for 24 V models) can be selected. If the set limit value is reached, the inverter first indicates this by flashing the input LED. The load output of the inverter then switches off automatically. The load output only becomes active again when the battery has reached the necessary restart voltage.
Selectable power-saving functions: Standby, Sleep
Standby function If the inverter is not needed constantly, the selectable standby function makes it possible to reduce the inverter's own power consumption by approx. 90 %. For this purpose, only DIP switch 2 (see picture) must be switched on directly on the device. The device now checks approx. every 10 seconds, whether a load is connected. If the inverter detects a load above the standby level, it switches on the 230 V AC output and is thus in the normal operating mode again. Sleep function All inverters of the DSW series are additionally equipped with a sleep function. If the power output is not used for more than 10 minutes, the inverter switches off automatically and no longer draws current. The device is switched on again by switching it off and on again directly at the device or using the remote switch FS-01 or FS-02 when it is in a location that is difficult to access. The sleep function can be activated or deactivated directly at the device using DIP-switch 1 (see picture). This prevents unnecessary discharging of the battery.

5 V USB socket as standard
All DSW inverters are equipped with a 5 V USB socket for the power supply of suitable external devices such as mobile phones, tablets, cameras or navigation devices.
Temperature- and power-controlled fan
The power- and temperature-controlled fan minimises the noise of the inverter by only being switched on when required.
Lightweight and powerful
DSW inverters set themselves apart through their low weight. Conventional inverters are often equipped with large ring transformers. As a result, they are heavy and bulky. In contrast, the microprocessor-controlled IVT inverters work digitally thanks to innovative technology: large, heavy components are omitted and replaced with small and powerful components.
Solid metal housing
The valuable inner workings of the inverter are protected by a solid and sturdy metal housing. Thanks to the mounting rails, the inverter can be stably fixed anywhere.
Remote switch on/off: Available as accessory

With the remote switches FS-01 (surface-mounted version) and FS-02 (flush-mounted version) all DSW inverters can be switched on and off at a suitable location. The remote switch replaces the main switch on the inverter.
Remote control: Individual control and monitoring of up to 4 units

For the 12 V models, a voltage between 9 V and 12 V can be selected, for the 24 V models, a voltage between 18 V and 24 V can be selected. The remote control and the Webbox-LCD also offer the advantage of individually controlling and monitoring up to 4 devices (inverters of the IVT DSW series, solar controllers of the MPPT plus + series).
Matching connection cable sets
For a safe and fault-free operation of the DSW inverters, we recommend to use the original IVT connection cables. These are exactly fitted to the respective inverter in terms of conductor cross-section and cable length. The high-quality production of our connection cables guarantees a particularly long service life even under high loads. The cable set is already pre-assembled with matching ring lugs and wire end ferrules for connection to the battery and the inverter. All original IVT connection cables are delivered including fuse holder and 200 A fuse. Important note for the 12 V versions of DSW-2000 and DSW-2000-Synchron Due to the high current flow, please use at least a cable with a cross-section of 50 mm 2 to connect the 12 V versions of the DSW-2000 and DSW-2000-Synchron to the battery.
