Similar to diode battery disconnects, the Argofet disconnects allow charging two or more batteries from a single generator (or a battery charger with one output) without connecting the batteries to each other. Unlike diode battery disconnects, the Argofet disconnects have almost no voltage drop. At low currents, the voltage drop is less than 0.02 volts, while at higher currents, it averages 0.1 volts.
