This cable is used to create a connection between a non-VE.Bus type battery management system (Smart BMS CL 12-100 or smallBMS) and a MultiPlus unit (MultiPlus, MultiPlus Compact, or MultiPlus-II).
The cable disconnects the MultiPlus device as soon as the battery management system (BMS) detects low voltage, high voltage, or temperature alarm conditions in the Victron lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) intelligent battery group. After the alarm condition is cleared, the BMS reconnects the MultiPlus device.
