This cable is used to establish a connection between a non-VE.Bus battery management system (Smart BMS CL 12-1 or smallBMS) and a MultiPlus unit (MultiPlus, MultiPlus Compact or MultiPlus-II).
The cable will turn off the MultiPlus when the Battery Management System (BMS) detects a low voltage, high voltage or temperature alarm condition in the Victron Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) smart battery bank. Once the alarm condition is cleared, the BMS will turn the MultiPlus back on.
