AGM (maintenance-free - absorbed electrolyte) batteries have extremely low internal resistance, making them particularly suitable for applications where discharge occurs at high current, such as inverters, bow thrusters, and winches.
GEL (gel) batteries provide the best deep discharge tolerance and the longest overall lifespan. The use of high-purity materials and lead-calcium grids ensures that both absorbed and gel batteries have extremely low self-discharge, so they do not discharge even during long periods without charging. Both product families feature flat copper terminals with M8 holes, eliminating the need for lugs while providing the lowest possible transition resistance. Durable ABS-cased batteries meet CE and UL standards, and Victron offers a worldwide 2-year warranty on them.
