AGM (maintenance-free - soaked electrolyte) batteries have an extremely low resistance, which makes them particularly suitable for applications where discharge occurs at high currents, such as inverters, thrusters and winches.
GEL (gel) batteries offer the best deep discharge tolerance and the longest overall lifespan. The use of high-purity materials and lead-calcium grids ensure that both flooded and gel batteries have an extremely low self-discharge, meaning they will not discharge even during long periods without charging. Both product ranges feature flat copper terminals with M8 holes, eliminating the need for lugs while providing the lowest possible contact resistance. Batteries in durable ABS casing meet CE and UL standards and are backed by Victron's 2-year worldwide warranty.
