The Battery Balancer balances the charge level of two 12 V batteries connected in series or several batteries connected in series in parallel.
When the charging voltage of the 24 V battery bank rises above 27 V, the battery balancer switches on and compares the voltage of the two series-connected batteries. The battery balancer will charge the battery with the highest voltage (or batteries connected in parallel) with a maximum of 1 A. The resulting difference in charging current ensures that all batteries approach the same charge level.
If necessary, several battery balancers can be connected in parallel.
48 V battery banks made from 12 V batteries can be balanced using three battery balancers.
