The Battery Balancer battery equalizer balances the charge levels of two series-connected 12 V batteries or several parallel-connected series batteries.
When the charging voltage of the 24 V battery bank rises above 27 V, the battery equalizer activates and compares the voltage of the two series-connected batteries. The battery equalizer will load the highest voltage battery (or parallel-connected batteries) with a maximum of 1 A. The resulting charging current difference ensures that all batteries approach the same charge level.
If necessary, multiple battery equalizers can be connected in parallel.
48 V battery banks made from 12V batteries can be balanced with the help of three battery equalizers.
