The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non-essential consumers before it is completely discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it no longer has enough energy for starting the engine.
When using Bluetooth, any necessary connection/disconnection level can be set for programming the Smart BatteryProtect. Alternatively, one of the nine predefined connection/disconnection levels can also be set with the programming pin (see the manual).
Bluetooth can be disabled if necessary.
The Smart BatteryProtect providing intelligent battery protection is a unidirectional device. It only handles current in one direction – either current flowing towards the consumer or current coming from the charger, but not both at the same time. Furthermore, the current can only flow from the ON endpoint to the OFF endpoint. When used with a consumer, the battery connects to the ON endpoint, and when used with a charger, the charger connects to the ON endpoint.
