The Cyrix battery connector is a microprocessor-controlled high-performance relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one reaches a preset voltage (indicating that the battery is charging) and disconnects them when the voltage drops below the float charge voltage (indicating that one or more batteries are discharging). The Cyrix battery connector is an excellent replacement for diode battery disconnectors. Its main feature is that it has virtually no voltage drop, so the output voltage of the generator or battery charger does not need to be increased.
