The cyrix battery switch is a microprocessor-controlled high-power relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them reaches a preset voltage (indicating that the battery is charging) and disconnects them when the voltage drops below the trickle charge voltage (indicating that one or more batteries are discharging). The cyrix battery switch is an excellent replacement for diode battery isolators. Its most important feature is that it has almost no voltage drop, so the output voltage of the generator or battery charger does not need to be increased.
