The Extralink CERES (extralink ceres switch ex3906 8x) is a 10-port PoE switch with 4 operating modes: AI QoS mode, AI VLAN, AI Extend, and intelligent power supply mode. The AI QoS mode is ideal for monitoring applications, ensuring smooth video playback by processing the highest priority video data.

Port isolation with VLAN functionality

The Extralink switch features AI VLAN mode, allowing ports 1-8 to be isolated from each other, which helps effectively suppress broadcast storms and improve network performance.

Powering cameras from distances of up to 250 meters and real-time monitoring of device performance

In AI Extend mode, ports 1-8 can effectively transmit data and PoE power up to 250 meters, making it ideal for surveillance systems, as well as powering cameras or access points. In AI PoE mode, the switch automatically detects the operational status of connected devices; if it finds that the device is not functioning properly, the switch automatically restarts the device.
