Two AC inputs and two AC outputs

The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example, shore power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro-II automatically switches to the active source. Its primary output is uninterruptible. In the event of a power failure, or if the vehicle's connection to shore power is disconnected or the generator stops, the Quattro-II takes over the power supply of the connected consumers. This occurs in such a short time (less than 2 ms) that computers and other electronic equipment continue to operate without interruption. The second AC output is only energized when AC voltage is present at one of the two inputs of the Quattro-II. This output can be used to connect appliances such as air conditioners or water heaters that can quickly drain the battery.

Unique PowerAssist function

The Quattro-II prevents overloading of a limited-capacity AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, it automatically reduces the battery charging current if an overload would otherwise occur. In the second step, the energy taken from the battery increases the output of the generator or shore power supply.
