SmartShunt is a fully featured battery monitoring device that doesn't have its own display. The display is provided by your phone. SmartShunt connects to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) via Bluetooth, allowing you to conveniently read out all of your battery's monitored parameters, such as state of charge, remaining runtime, historical data and more.
SmartShunt can also be connected to a GX device for readout. The connection to the SmartShunt is provided by a VE.Direct cable.
The SmartShunt is a good replacement for the BMV battery monitoring device, especially in systems requiring battery monitoring where fewer wires and less clutter are beneficial.
The SmartShunt comes with a port for Bluetooth and VE.Direct, as well as an additional connection for monitoring a second battery, monitoring the mid-point potential or using a temperature sensor.
