Extralink 24V 24W Gigabit PoE Power Supply
Extralink PoE power adapter (power adapter) designed to provide power to network devices such as media converters, access points, cameras, etc. over selected twisted pair cables. The PoE 24V 1A power supply allows for the transmission of network data over gigabit ethernet cable. This model enables gigabit ethernet speed transmission, is a passive PoE solution, and does not comply with the IEEE 802.3at standard. Unlike power supplies with 5.5/2.1 mm jacks, the PoE adapter allows for direct power supply to Gigabit PoE devices, eliminating the need for additional network accessories.
The power supply comes with a 1.2-meter long power cable ending in a clover-type connector and has two RJ45 ports. One connects to the device to be powered, while the other is for connecting a patch cord to a switch or router. It can be installed in locations such as residential areas, telecommunication rooms, or rack cabinets.
The device indicates proper operation. If any of the following protections are triggered: short circuit and overload protection, the power supply will cut off the voltage to the device. After the fault is cleared, the power supply automatically restores the voltage.
